Casa Esperanza

(House of Hope) San Miguel, Mexico

Casa Esperanza is a day center in the city San Miguel de Allende, Mexico dedicated to improving the lives of the poor children who live in the streets.  It functions as a community center and preschool, provides the children with 2 meals per day, social services, and is focused on keeping them in school in order to escape the poverty trap through education.  Casa Esperanza is operated as a partnership between the Mexican government social service agency DIF and the nonprofit Fundacion Nur Mexico, with additional support from the Sufi Service Committee in the USA.

Founded in 1994, Corazón de Vida (“CDV”) is a US-based nonprofit organization supporting Baja orphanages. It provides children in dire need the necessities of shelter, food, clothing, education, and healthcare – as well as hope, compassion and love. CDV not only financially supports orphanages in Baja, but also provides assistance through frequent cross-border visits by board members, staff, and volunteers.



Corazón de Vida's vision is that every child in the world has someone committed to the possibility that their life hold the same excitement and opportunity as the most fortunate child on Earth.

Fuel For Change (FFC) is a non-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to implement  humanitarianism across the retail sales sector. FFC empowers consumers to make a conscious decision where to shop by delineating FFC member businesses that make a commitment to humanitarianism by signing up with FFC. We seek to generate a positive regional and global impact through inciting and promoting Communities of Giving.  Fundamentally, FFC leverages individual purchasing power for the greater good.
